With factories based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Tempe, Arizona, we aim to ship products based on region whenever possible. Having facilities in western and eastern regions of the US help us keep turn times low.
Designed by Independent Artists
Each design is created by an independent artist who receives a 10% royalty with every purchase. These one-of-a-kind prints are always in stock and printed on the material of your choice when ordered.
Made Just For You
We do not stock finished goods and print after an item has been purchased, helping to reduce deadstock and unsold goods that would otherwise end up in landfills. Every item you receive is carefully printed, cut, packaged and shipped just for you.

Wallpaper Process & Sourcing
Wallpaper Mill Stories
Sourced from North American Forests
Our Peel and Stick paper is made with pulp sourced from forests in Northeastern USA and in Canada. In the industry, the upstream supply chain is where over 90% of our emissions occur so it’s also important to work with mills and converting partners that are taking action to reduce their footprint. Peel and Stick is made by a mill with measurable emission reduction goals and initiatives.
Recycled From Post Consumer Waste
Our Pre-Pasted base paper consists of a mixture of three different wood fiber sources:
#1 sourced from forests in Quebec and Ontario, Canada.
#2 sourced from forests in Brazil.
#3 is a post-consumer recycled pulp (10%) with feedstock sourced from Northern United States and Eastern Canada.
The paper is made by a mill with measurable emission reduction goals and initiatives.
Commercial Vinyl Alternative
Made of a mix of paper, polyester and cotton, Non-Pasted is a breathable Type II wallpaper that’s a substitute to vinyl — all the durability without the harmful PVC! This paper’s pulp is sourced from North American forests.
A Powerful Plant's Journey
100% handcrafted, our Grasscloth starts with the renewable sisal plant grown in Southern China. Sisal is known for its strength, durability and ability to stretch, making it the perfect base for a specialty handwoven wallpaper.
Forest Stewardship Council® Certified
FSC® is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management. The chain of custody model gives us full transparency of the supply chain, starting from the pulp stage of our qualifying papers.

About Our Wallpaper Inks
Our printers use non-toxic, Greenguard Gold certified inks. This means that our inks have been tested for over 15,000 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) known to pollute the air, and confirms they have low chemical emissions. Learn more about UL Greenguard standards here.
We limit our waste outputs by using wide format digital cutters, allowing us to maximize printable space and reduce the material bleed required for trimming.
Fabric Processing & Sourcing
Innovative Mill Partners
To help lessen the impact of processing textiles, we partner with innovative companies like Kornit who are committed to thoughtful manufacturing.
Compared to rotary screen, reactive dyes and other comparable print methods, our Kornit printers use non-toxic pigment inks that account for 95.63% less water and emit 83% less carbon (CO2e).
Our process is designed to minimize the amount of unprinted material through yield-optimized material markers, or the layout used to print every design. We print individual designs – stacked and aligned – a full roll at a time, limiting the amount of waste fabric needed to start and stop machines.

Fabric Mill Stories
Twill Experts Making a Difference
Our mill partner has made measurable commitments for water conservation, renewable energy, labor & human rights, sustainable sourcing and social responsibility. Based in Pakistan, they advocate for and financially support programs for healthcare and well being, education access and gender equality in their local community. The mill established a school in 2002, offering quality education to the children of their employees and the neighboring community of Punjab.
Certified Linen For Good
Linen, made from flax, uses far fewer pesticides and fertilizers when compared to other crops. During growth, the flax plant receives no additional irrigation because rainwater is sufficient. Linen production is inherently less demanding of resources, and our partner mill, Libeco™, aims for a “no-waste policy.” Production waste like selvages and shearing dust are converted into insulation paper and other materials. Our Belgian Linen™ is certified authentic.
Traceable Waste Diversion
Our Recycled Canvas uses 50% REPREVE® polyester, sourced from PET bottles at high risk of ending up in the ocean. Each yard of Recycled Canvas is made from 10 recycled bottles, traceable from recovery through the supply chain. Bottles are collected and converted into flakes, then spun into usable fibers in the USA. REPREVE® is a registered trademark of Unifi, Inc. in the US and other regions.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
We take seriously our obligation to comply with Section 307 of the Tariff Act of 1930 (19 U.S.C. 1307), Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, also referred to as UFLPA. To support Shutterfly, LLC Import Compliance Policies, we also require compliance certification from our supply network. This includes but not limited to, UFLPA, other U.S. forced labor laws and regulations as well as local country regulations that may apply to the materials or components sold, exported or shipped on behalf of Shutterfly, LLC. This certification requires supply chain due diligence to ensure that all involved in the sourcing and production of the goods sold on behalf of Shutterfly, LLC do not use any form of forced labor at any stage of the production process.
Home Decor Process
Every home decor item is printed on demand and sewn to order. First, we print and cut following our standard fabric process. Then, each item is carefully constructed and checked by expert sewists before being packaged and shipped.
Many home decor items are sewn right where our fabric is printed, and we work with two experienced manufacturing partners, all in the USA.
Quality takes time, and we take pride in our ability to keep turn times low while still maintaining safe, comfortable and equitable work spaces for factory workers all across our supply chain.

Lab Tested, Expert Approved
We research, develop, prototype and test with third party labs and experts like wallpaper installers, wallcovering adhesive manufacturer ROMAN, sewers, interior designers and DIYers to refine our products. We only offer vetted, quality, lasting materials.

Every order goes through automated and manual quality assurance procedures. We have a strong color management system used to limit color variation from order to order, and our products are printed by people who take pride in every single order.
Product Care
Proper care can extend the life of your products, reducing the need to buy more. When it is time to replace a worn-out item, we encourage mending first, then upcycling or downcycling whenever possible. Follow the button below for used material ideas.
Material Possibilities
We aim to provide you with material options and the right material for your project. Different materials have different benefits, environmental impacts and lifespans. Examples:
For wallpaper, Non-Pasted is highly durable, requires added adhesive paste and is intended to last on your wall under heavy use for many years. Peel and Stick wallpaper is renter-friendly with no need for added paste, intended to be removed after 1-2 years.
For fabric, cotton is one of the most widely used materials in the textile industry, adored for its softness, breathability and renewability. Cotton breaks down over time, while polyester is stronger and more durable but may contribute to microplastic shedding when washed. Polyester continues to be used for its unmatched performance characteristics.

While we recognize we don’t have it all figured out, our core values haven’t changed: We care about our people and focus on safety; we take the responsibility of manufacturing seriously and continue to evolve the equipment and materials we use; and we build our products to last so that they can stay out of the trash for as long as possible (and will always encourage you to reuse, mend, and repurpose before throwing them away).
