Erin Zubot
Erin Zubot mixed patterns and textures in her lakehouse cabin bedroom to complement a thrifted vintage quilt.

Mixing and Matching Patterns
While renovating her '90s Canadian lakehouse, Erin Zubot was inspired to design her cabin bedroom around a thrifted handmade quilt she fell in love with. She utlized Spoonflower's plethora of designs and materials to design a room that would complement the patterns and reflect the cozy feel of the quilt. She even contacted the Spoonflower artist behind the wallpaper to produce a brand new colorway that would pefectly match her design plan. A true DIY master, Erin took her bedroom project to the next level by using Spoonflower fabrics to create a gorgeous new headboard and lampshades to tie the room together. In combination with Spoonflower bedding, wallpaper, and curtains, Erin created the lakehouse bedroom of her dreams, a beautiful extension of the quilt she loved.
