I was drawn to Cotton Silk because I wanted a natural fiber fabric but one that still had a beautiful sheen to it which made my dress look high quality! I knew I was going to be dancing all night in it so it had to function with its breathability.

The [Spoonflower] variety is huge, the colors are reliable, and the ability to scale and customize designs means the fabric actually fits the garment, not the other way around. It’s rare to find a platform where you can test ideas, order swatches, and then wear the result.

    Cotton Silk Fabric FAQs

Machine wash cold. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Line dry. Cool iron if needed using a pressing cloth or by ironing on the unprinted side of the fabric. Woven fabrics may experience fraying when washed. We recommend serging or stay-stitching 1/4"-1/2" from the cut edge or using a delicates bag when pre-washing.

Designs print with crisp detail and vibrant color. Smooth fabrics show fine details clearly, while textured fabrics create a more natural printed look.

Some Spoonflower fabrics may include a small amount of extra width for the selvedge (the finished edge of the fabric). This area helps prevent fraying during printing and shipping. The listed fabric width refers to the usable printed area, and any selvedge is included as additional width.
