Caroline Walker and Maddie Hazelgrove
Spoonflower custom design refreshes a young family's home

Designers Bet Big on Spoonflower Customization
Customization leads the way in Caroline Walker’s latest project at the Hazelgrove home. The tight friendship between designer and client guided initial selections - a custom stripe in the dining scaled down by Danika Herrick, a youthful, dotted blue in hall bath, followed by a family settee reimagined with Whitney English’s help. Taking a color way from one of Whitney’s, and flowers from another, Maddie selected a blend of the two for a bespoke chintz. Spoonflower assortment delivers on its promise with grasscloth in the sitting room, a soothing cream on the drapes, coordinating trim on their son’s cornice, and pink ticking swathing walls and windows in their daughter's room. “Bringing your vision to the space with so many options from Spoonflower makes our home feel unique and highly custom. We found a print that complements our daughter's headboard, passed down from my mother. The artist even provided two scales to compare. This made the experience very special,” says Maddie.

Maddie Hazelgrove has been in her home for more than five years, and works as an Executive in Environmental Insurance. Her home is a busy place with her husband, two children, golden retriever and is often filled with the many family and friends they entertain.
