Meet Alissah Ashton
When Alissah Ashton made a goal to sew her own summer wardrobe in 2019 with absolutely zero sewing experience, you couldn’t convince her that sewing was about to become her entire personality! That summer changed her entire life, and she hasn’t stopped sewing since. What started as a cute new hobby quickly became a new obsession. Alissah spent her days soaking up everything she could learn about sewing and quickly realized that what she loved sewing the most was lush dresses, big sleeves, flowy tiered skirts, and ruffles wherever she could add them! In fact, she loved sewing so much that she started a local sewing club in her town! Since 2019, Alissah has shared hundreds of tutorials on social media. She also started designing her own sewing patterns, eventually designing for her own indie brand as well as KnowMe by Simplicity. In 2025, Alissah started her own online fabric shop selling locally sourced fabrics, continually growing her love for all things sewing.
